Make it yours with Scout

Scout is in your workspace from the first minute. Tell it what you need and it sets up your workspace, changes it and writes tools for it.

Step 1

Describe your business

Type what you do in the box at the top and click Open my workspace. A trade we have a setup for is ready in seconds. For anything else, Scout plans your tables, boards and tools while you look round.

Step 2

Ask Scout for anything else

Click Scout on the top bar and say what you need, for example “add a Visits table linked to Jobs, with hours and a rate”. Scout builds it and tests it as it goes.

Step 3

Right click to change how it looks

Right click any widget or dashboard and tell Scout what to change: a colour, a shape, a button that opens another board. Undo puts it back.

Step 4

Have Scout write an app

Ask for a tool of your own, in your own look. Click Save to your plugins, then allow what it may read and add under Tools, Plugins.

Bring Claude or ChatGPT to your records

Use the app you already pay for. Each person connects their own, and we charge nothing for it. It sees and changes only what you can.

  1. 1In Diract, click AI on the top bar, then Claude. Name the connection and click Make a connection. Copy what it shows now, as you see it only once.
  2. 2In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste the Server address, choose No sign-in, then Add header named Authorization with the Header value.
  3. 3Ask Claude about your records. In Claude Code, run the Command Diract shows instead.

Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT on the web, by OpenAI

  1. 1In Diract, click AI on the top bar, then ChatGPT, and make a connection. Copy the Server address with your key.
  2. 2In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, click +, then Add custom MCP server. If it is not offered, turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT’s settings first.
  3. 3Paste the address into MCP server URL, choose No authentication and create it.

Treat the key like a password. An admin can choose Full control under What it can do, and then Claude or ChatGPT can build tables, dashboards and apps for you, showing every change before it makes it.
