PDF editor
The PDF editor changes the words in a PDF and adds text, ticks, highlights and signatures. It also fills in forms, rearranges pages, and opens the files in a matter’s OneDrive.
Open a PDF
Click PDF editor in the Tools rail.
Click Open PDF and pick a file, or drag a PDF onto the page. Nothing is saved until you click Save.
The PDFs you saved before appear below. Click a name to open that PDF again.
Edit it
Pick a tool from the row at the top. Hold the pointer over a tool to see its name.
The tools are Select / edit text, Add text box, Add checkbox, Highlight, Strikethrough, Draw, Signature and Fill form fields.
With Select / edit text, click a line of the PDF to change its words. Undo and Redo step back and forward through your changes.
Manage pages reorders and removes pages, and adds the pages of another PDF. The download arrow saves a copy to your computer.
Click Save to keep the changes.
Edit a file in a matter’s OneDrive
This part appears once your workspace uses OneDrive. Under Open from a matter’s OneDrive, choose a matter. Its folder opens underneath, the same as on the matter’s OneDrive Files tab.
Click Edit beside a PDF to open it in the editor. Save puts the edited PDF back in OneDrive, in place of the one you opened.
A Word or Excel file has Edit in Word or Edit in Excel beside it. Click it to open the file in Office for the web.
