Text staff their shifts

1Open the drawer

Click Calendar in the sidebar. Open the week. Click Text staff their shifts.

The button only appears once the week has published shifts.

2Pick who gets a text

Pick Plain text to spell out the shifts in the message, or Send link to send a private link to that person's own shifts.

Each person is listed with how many shifts they have this week. Untick anyone who should not get a text. Click Preview message to read the exact text.

Click Text staff at the bottom.

3Check what was sent

The drawer lists each person the text went to and the time it was sent. Anyone skipped is named with the reason.

To change the wording, click Admin, then Calendar, and edit the shift text template.

4Read one person's texts later

Click a person's name in the roster to open their staff record. Every text they have been sent is listed under Texts, newest first, with the time, the number it went to and who sent it. The line above the list names the number the next one will go to.

Type in Search texts... to find one by its wording or number. Use All statuses to show only the ones that were Sent, are still Queued, or Failed. Click Newest first to read the thread the other way round.

Click the archive icon at the end of a text to put it away. It leaves the list and the Archived button appears with a count. Click that button to see them, and the restore icon to bring one back.
