Your terms, agreements and payment terms
The documents your business runs on: your terms of trade or engagement, the agreements your jobs need, your policies, and the payment terms on every invoice.

Find your documents
Open Tools, then Your Documents. When we set up your workspace for your trade, we wrote these for you: your terms, the agreements your kind of work needs, and the payment terms your invoices carry.
Terms and agreements lists each set of terms. The one marked Default for quotes is on every new quote, and your customer accepts it with the quote.
Policies lists the documents you publish or hand over, such as your privacy policy, your website terms of use and your workmanship warranty. They never appear on a quote.
Staff documents lists your employment contracts: one for full time or part time staff, and one for casual staff. Fill in the schedule at the top with the position, start date, hours and pay for each person.
Change a document
Click a document to open it. Change its Name or its Terms, then click Save.
To make another set the one every quote starts with, open it, tick Every new quote starts with these terms and click Save.
Click Payment terms to change what every invoice prints under its totals.
Open a document as a PDF or Word file
Open a document and click View in PDF or View in Word. It opens as a finished document with your logo, your business name and number, the date it last changed, and page numbers.
Save from the PDF or Word editor to download the file. On a phone, View in PDF opens it in the PDF editor and View in Word offers it to Word, Pages or Files.
Add a document
Under Add documents, Suggested for your business lists the documents written for your trade that you do not have yet. Click Add beside one, or Add all to add every suggestion.
Other documents lists the rest, for work outside your main trade.
Send an agreement to sign
Start a quote, choose the agreement under Terms, and tick Agreement only. Your customer reads and accepts it from the link, the same way they accept a quote.
