Photograph a job and tick off its checklist

Add before and after photos to a job, tick off a room by room checklist with a photo where you need proof, and send the customer one link to both.

Set up your checklists

An admin opens Job checklists (search for checklist) and clicks New checklist. Type a Name, such as End of lease clean.

In Starts on these work types, type the work types this checklist is for, separated by commas, such as End of lease, Deep clean. A job whose Work Type matches offers this checklist first.

Add each item with its Room and what to do, and click Add item for the next. Tick Needed under Photo for an item that cannot be ticked without a photo, such as the inside of the oven. Use the arrows to reorder. Click Save checklist.

Add photos to a job

Open the job and click Photos at the top. Click Add before photos or Add after photos and choose one photo or several. A bar shows how many are added.

Click a photo to open it full size. Point at a photo to move it to Before or After, hide it from the customer, or remove it. A hidden photo shows Team only and stays off the customer's page.

Tick off the checklist

In Photos, choose a checklist and click Start checklist. The one for the job's work type is listed first.

Click the circle beside an item to tick it. Each tick shows when it was done and by whom. Click the camera beside an item to add a photo of it.

An item marked Needs a photo before it can be ticked cannot be ticked until it has one. Click Remove checklist to take it off the job; its ticks are lost and its photos stay on the job.

Do it from the phone

Open the job on the phone and tap Photos and checklist at the top of it. The same before and after photos, checklist and sending are all there.

Tap Add before photos or Add after photos, then Take photo to use the camera or Choose photos to pick from the phone, up to 20 at a time. Tap the camera beside a checklist item to photograph that item.

Tap a photo to see it full size, move it between Before and After, hide it from the customer, or remove it.

Share link hands the link to the phone's own share sheet, for a message, an email or anything else on the phone. Email photos and Text photos send it the same way the web does.

Send the customer the photos

Under Send to the customer, click Email photos, check the address, type a message or leave it empty, and click Send. Or click Text photos, check the number and the message, and click Send text. Either way the customer gets a link.

Copy link copies the link to send another way. The panel shows when the link was made and when the customer first opened it.

The customer needs no account. The link opens a page with your business name, the job, the before and after photos with the time each was taken, and the checklist with what was done. It does not show who ticked each item.
