Pick up a form where you left it
Every form that makes a new record keeps what you type as a draft. You can open a quote, a job or a customer you left and finish it later.
Start a new record
Open any form that makes something new. Quotes, invoices, jobs, recurring jobs, customers, sites, matters, equipment, supplier invoices and tasks all keep drafts.
Once you type anything, Diract keeps a draft of the form and shows Draft saved near the top. The draft is not a record: it has no number and appears in no list until you press Create or Save.
Open a draft again
Open the same form again. Your drafts at the top lists your unfinished forms of that kind, newest first, with when each was last changed.
Click Open to carry on with one. Press Create or Save when it is done, and the draft disappears from the list.
A draft started on the computer opens in the phone app too, and the other way round.
Throw a draft away
Click the bin beside a draft, then Discard.
Diract deletes a draft nobody has changed for 30 days. The list says how many days each one has left.
