Check what you pay against the award

See every staff member's pay next to their award classification or the national minimum wage, in one list, and fix the ones that fall short.

The comparison is made against Fair Work's published rates, so it only runs for staff whose working venue is in Australia. Everybody else is listed as not checked.

A person is compared against their award classification when they have one, and against the national minimum wage when they do not. A casual is compared against the published casual rate for their classification, which is real Fair Work data rather than a loading added to the ordinary rate.

Set what a person is paid

Open the staff member, then Wage Compliance. Choose their Role Type and Pay Basis, type their Salary, and click Save. An annual salary is converted to an hourly figure before it is compared.

Use Award classification to search for their award and level. Leave it empty to compare against the national minimum wage instead.

The badge under the form says At or above, Below the rate, Not enough detail or Not checked, with the two figures it compared.

Say where they work

The country comes from the staff member's Main working location, on their profile under Where they work. Set it there, and add the venue's address under Admin, then Locations, if it has none.

See everybody at once

Open Admin, then Members, then Pay compliance. Everybody is listed worst first, with what they are paid against what they have to be paid.

Click Needs attention to leave out the people who are already above the rate. Search by name or venue, and use the company and venue picker to narrow to one place.

Click Open on a row to set that person's pay without leaving the list.
