Keep the register of powers and estates
Record each power and estate your practice or its associates act in for trust money, with the particulars rule 60 of the Uniform General Rules asks for, and print the register.
Add an estate
Click Powers and Estates in the sidebar, under Trust Account, then click Add Estate.
Choose the Matter, and enter the Name of deceased and the Date of death. The Address of deceased and the Date of grant are optional.
Check Acting as (it starts as Sole executor of deceased estate) and the Solicitor responsible, then click Add Estate.
Add a power
Click Add Power, choose the Matter if there is one, and enter the Name of donor, the Address of donor and the Date of power.
Check the Description of power (it starts as Enduring power of attorney) and the Solicitor responsible, then click Add Power.
End an entry, or correct one
When a power ends or an estate is finished, click End beside it, enter the Date and the Reason, and click End Entry. It stays on the register, marked ended.
An entry cannot be changed or deleted. To correct one, end it with a reason such as "Entered in error", then add it again.
Print the register
Click Print Register. It lists every entry, ended ones included, with the date of the power, the donor or deceased and their address, the matter, the description, the date of death and the solicitor responsible.
