Apple Home
The Diract app on iPhone and iPad works with Apple Home. It runs a scene when you check in, check out or take a break, switches your lights, plugs and fans, and installs Homebridge plugins.

Connect Apple Home
In the Diract app on an iPhone or iPad, tap More, then tap your company's name at the top. Under Personal, tap Add your Home, then Connect Apple Home.
The first time, iOS shows a request for Home access. Tap Allow. The screen then lists the scenes and the rooms in your home.
Run a scene at the start and end of your workday
Under Scenes for your workday, tap When I check in and choose a scene. Do the same for When I check out, When I start a break and When I end a break, or choose Nothing.
The scene runs on your phone straight after Diract records the check in, from your Quick Glance card or the check in card. When Diract refuses a check in, no scene runs.
Switch your lights and run scenes
Under Scenes, tap Run beside a scene. It reads Done once Apple Home has run it.
Each room lists its lights, plugs and fans, each with a switch that turns it on and off in one tap. An accessory Apple Home cannot reach reads Not responding, with its switch disabled.
Add a device
Under Add devices, tap Add accessory. Apple's own screen opens. Scan the setup code on the device or its box, then choose its name and room.
With no home in Apple Home yet, tap Create a home first, type its name and tap Create.
Install Homebridge plugins
Homebridge runs on a computer in your home, such as a Raspberry Pi. Its plugins bring devices into Apple Home that Apple Home cannot add on its own.
Under Add devices, tap Homebridge plugins. Type your Homebridge's address, such as homebridge.local, with the username and password you use for Homebridge UI, and tap Connect Homebridge. An account with two-factor sign in also asks for the code from your authenticator app.
Under Add a plugin, search for the brand of your device and tap Install. The screen shows npm's progress until Homebridge finishes the install. Then tap Restart Homebridge, and add the new device in Apple Home.
Under Installed, tap Update to and the version number to update a plugin, or Remove to uninstall one.
