Custom tables let you model any part of your business beyond Matters, Entities, and Properties. Add fields, link tables together, and choose what shows on each column.
Every board, like this Matters table, is built from fields you chose, not a fixed template. Anyone can build a table for their own use, and a company admin can make it shared.

Text, number, date, dropdown, a linked record, and more. Some fields need no typing at all, a formula field can sum a related table automatically, and an auto numbered field generates its own id from a pattern.

ABN and ACN are checked against the real ATO and ASIC checksums rather than counting digits. Property, Entity and Project are relations to those system tables specifically.

A relation field points at another table, one record by default or a genuine many to many. The table on the other end automatically shows the matching child records as a live sub table, with no second field to configure.

Open Setup on any table to choose whether a field shows as a real column, only when a row is expanded, or not at all, then reorder and resize them to fit how you actually read the table.
